Day 1: Depart for Queen Elizabeth and katwe crater driver.
Leave for Queen Elizabeth National Park after breakfast, departure time will depend on your aero-link flight schedule . Either at Kasese airdrome or the Mweya airfield. The estimated 1½ flight to the iconic mountains of Ruwenzori. Also referred to as the mountains of the moon region, Arrive at the lodge for lunch.

Day 2: Early Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise on the Kazinga Channel.

Buffaloes, Warthogs, Waterbucks, Kobs and Hippos in some water ponds. Later return to the lodge for lunch. After drive to the Mweya peninsular to take the 2 hour water cruise on the Kazinga channel. Along the banks you will see herds of Buffaloes, Elephants, Hippos, Crocodiles and different water birds then return to the lodge for the overnight. Day 3: Drive to Ishasha for the Tree Climbing Lions.
After breakfast we embark on a 2 hrs journey to the Ishasha part of Queen Elizabeth Park in search of the tree climbing lions. These lions have adapted going up the figs or acacia trees in this region. The reason why they do so is not well documented but it’s believed they do climb because of the heat and avoiding the biting insects on the ground, they normally climb during the high sun, cause it is cool up in the tree, but it may also be a hunting tactic cause during this time they’re able to scan and monitor prey movements, due to the bird eye view, after the game drive we head to the lodge and have the evening off. Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking In Kyambura Gorge and optional game drive.
Early morning breakfast and depart as soon it is done to be at the gorge by 8pm for the briefing and we carry with us drinking water, repellent, sun lotion, rain gear. Kyambura gorge has a rain forest and river that runs cross it, this tropical micro climate is the main reason the chimpanzees are found here, the number of chimpanzee in the gorge is estimated between 22 to 25 individuals,
and the gorge is estimated to cover an area of 25 km sq. The Kyambura gorge is home to other primates like black and white colobus monkeys, vervet monkey and the olive baboons, due to the presence of the river there hippos, cape buffaloes and also elephants, in addition to different kinds of antelopes. After finding the chimpanzees you have an hour of viewing and later return to the lodge and have an afternoon off. Day 5: Return to Entebbe and optional game drive
