Detailed Itinerary of the 5 Days Luxury Rwanda Gorillas & Chimpanzee Safari
Day 1: Kigali City Tour and Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park
You reach Kigali International Airport then you are met by our driver guide who takes you on City Tour around Kigali as you visit the Genocide Memorials, National Museums and National Market, Art Center at Inema to shop for African crafts, souvenirs, jewelry.
After the City Tour, proceed to the Nyunwe Forest National Park which inhabits 70 mammal species that include 12 species of primates and about 320 bird species and when you reach here check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Nyungwe Top Hill View Hotel.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking in Nyungwe Forest National Park
Very early morning breakfast then transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park headquarters for short briefing on conduct around the chimpanzees.
On briefing, you are introduced to the chimpanzees as well as informed on the ways of these primates in their natural forest vegetation then after you are allocated in groups of 8 with a lead park ranger guide who transfers you into the green forest vegetation to track the chimpanzees for 2 to 4 hours.
After a while in the forest, you shall meet the chimpanzees and stay in their presence taking many photos to keep. After tracking the Chimpanzees at Cyamudongo Forest which is located close to Nyungwe Forest National Park requiring you to transfer her for an hour and a half, you shall return to the park headquarters for your chimpanzee tracking certificate.

Day 3: Drive to Volcanoes National Park (Northern Province of Rwanda)
Enjoy early morning breakfast at 6:30 am then transfer to Volcanoes National Park for a period of 6 to 7 hours through the countryside filled with green vegetation terrain as well as raised canopies that are covered with mist. Day 4: Gorilla Trekking at Volcanoes National Park
Very early morning breakfast then embark on journey to the Kinigi Park headquarters for a period of 30 minutes or an hour depending on the distance between the accommodation and the meeting point.
When you reach the Kinigi headquarters , you are free to have a cup of hot coffee/ cappuccino then after you proceed for briefing on conduct around the Mountain Gorillas then later you shall be allocated in groups of 8 with a park ranger guide as a lead to take you to watch the Mountain Gorillas in their natural vegetation habitat. After a while, you shall meet the Gorillas and stay in their presence taking many photos to keep.

Day 5: Depart to Kigali International Airport
Breakfast in the morning then depart to Kigali International Airport to board your flight back home.
