4 Days Luxury Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari gives you a chance to trek the majestic Mountain Gorillas of Rwanda at Volcanoes National Park. Mountain Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park is a very exciting safari adventure to do as you trek these along various trails in the park as you create ways so as to reach the Mountain Gorillas.
Meeting these majestic primates is very exceptional as you see them take you through their daily activities which include; breastfeeding, conjugating, patrolling, leading, communicating, etc. You MUST have a valid Gorilla Trekking Permit to access the gorillas and this costs US $1500 per person in Rwanda. You are also required to follow the various rules and regulations while trekking the Gorillas as well as when you get in their presence for one hour.
Mountain Gorillas and other Wildlife Species in Volcanoes National Park
Volcanoes National Park is prominently known and visited by all travelers from all over the world interested in watching the Mountain Gorillas. There are 12 habituated Gorilla Trekking Families in the Park and these are led by a dominant Silverback Gorilla who leads and has the power to decide how the Gorilla Group operates.

Detailed Itinerary of the 4 Days Luxury Rwanda Gorilla Trekking Safari
Day 1: Arrive in Kigali and City Tour
You are dropped at the Kigali International Airport and here you are welcomed by a driver guide from our company. He introduces and briefs you about your safari then later on, he will transfer you on City Tour around the clean City of Kigali.
On City Tour, you shall visit the various Genocide Memorials around the City as well as the National Museums where you get informed on the tragic Genocide in which many lost their lives and family. After you shall have lunch en-route then later continue to check in hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Marriott Hotel Kigali
Day 2: Fly to Volcanoes National Park by helicopter
After breakfast in the morning, you shall be met by our driver guide to drive you to the Kigali International Airport to board a domestic flight with Rwanda Air to fly you to the stunning Volcanoes National Park situated in Ruhengeri district of Musanze.
Your flight will take you a period of 45 minutes with scenic views at the green terrain vegetation, birds and deviating canopies. After a while, you shall reach the Park.
You meet our driver guide to drive you to the Iby’iwachu Cultural Village where you are welcomed and introduced to the local traditions of the Rwandans. You engage in various activities like Music, Dance and Drama as well as acts then later you shall be transferred to check-in lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Singita Kwitonda lodge.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking at Volcanoes National Park
Gorilla Trekking Day! Enjoy early morning delicious breakfast at the lodge then later get picked up by our driver guide to drive you for 30 minutes to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters in Kinigi.
When you reach the headquarters you are welcomed by the park rangers then after you enjoy a cup of hot coffee or cappuccino then later you are added to a Gorilla Trekking Group of 8 with a lead guide. Later you get briefed on the conduct around the Gorillas then later you proceed to the starting point where you leave from to enter the forest to trek the Mountain Gorillas.
You trek these for a period of 2 to 6 hours depending where the Gorillas are located then after a while navigating along the trails, you shall meet the Gorillas then in an hour, stay in their presence taking many photos to keep and take with you back home.
After trekking the Gorillas, return to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. Singita Kwitonda Lodge.
Day 4: Depart to Kigali International Airport by Helicopter
Have early morning breakfast then embark on departure to the Kigali International Airport where you board a flight back home.
