Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Arrive at either Kigali International Airport in Rwanda or Entebbe International Airport in Uganda. Meet your guide and embark on a scenic drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Stop for lunch en route at a local restaurant. Arrive at Gorilla Valley Lodge in the Evening and check in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing and enjoying the serene surroundings. Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience
Wake up early for breakfast at Gorilla Valley Lodge. Head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking rules and regulations. After the briefing, embark on a thrilling gorilla trekking adventure led by experienced guides and trackers. Spend approximately 1-4 hours trekking through the dense forest in search of a gorilla family. Once you locate the gorillas, spend a magical hour observing them in their natural habitat, taking photographs, and learning about their behavior from your guide. After the trek, return to Gorilla Valley Lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, you may opt for a guided nature walk or visit a local community to learn about their culture and traditions. Dinner and overnight stay at Gorilla Valley Lodge. Day 3: Departure
Enjoy breakfast at Gorilla Valley Lodge before checking out. Transfer back to either Kigali International Airport in Rwanda or Entebbe International Airport in Uganda. Depending on your departure time, you may have the opportunity to stop for lunch en route.
