Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Arusha, historical tours

On your arrival day at Arusha International Airport, you will get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of exploring the popular Arusha Town, also referred as “the safari Capital of Tanzania”. You can visit the Arusha Cultural heritage center and Engaruka, and sample some of the local Tanzanian cuisines at any of the Restaurants.

Day 2: Arusha- Ngorongoro Conservation Area, afternoon game drive

Today, you will transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Situated in the Northern circuit of Tanzania, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is known for sheltering over 25,000 mammals and offers countless things to see and do as a visitor. However, we shall only explore in game drives, which will be undeniably rewarding. The journey should take about 2-3 hours with jaw-dropping views of the wilderness and when you arrive, your game drive will start immediately. Head for lunch at the Lodge.

In the afternoon, take a game drive through Ngorongoro Conservation Area where elephants, bushbucks, Topis, buffaloes, Oribis, Defassa waterbucks, Rhinos, wildebeests and many other animals are sighted. If you are lucky, you will see the mini-wildebeest migration.

Day 3: Ngorongoro game viewing day

On this day, you will explore Ngorongoro Conservation Area on a full-day game drive that starts from the Lodge/Camp towards the Crater floor, the wildlife hot spot. Leave after enjoying your breakfast and start your adventure with sights and sounds of African bush elephants, Cape buffaloes, duikers, bushbucks, Topis, Masai giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, Topis, Olive baboons, Blue monkeys, Hippos, lions, spotted hyenas, cheetahs, leopards and many others.

The game drive continues with a short picnic lunch and will take you through the varying landscapes of this outstanding Protected Area. Following this adventurous and information game drive, settle for a hot meal and cold bath at the Lodge.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation Area- Arusha, goodbye Tanzania

You will start the day with breakfast at the Lodge, followed by a game drive that will increase your chances of sighting more animals, including the ones that were missed during the three previous days. Have an early lunch and pack your bags for the journey back to Arusha.
