Detailed Itinerary of the 4 Days Luxury Rwanda Chimpanzee Tracking Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali
Arrive at Kigali International Airport where you are picked up by a driver guide who transfers you to your hotel for relaxation or go explore Kigali City Tour visiting the Kigali genocide Memorial center, the local Kamironko market, the Inema Art Center. Dinner and Overnight will be at Hotel Mille Collines.
Day 2: Fly to Nyungwe Forest National Park
Enjoy delicious breakfast at the Hotel then proceed to Airport to catch a domestic flight to Nyungwe Forest National Park for about 45 minutes. En-route your flight, watch the verdant rainforests, beautiful countryside, winding Rivers, and Valleys. When you reach the Airstrip, you are picked up by a driver guide to transfer you to your lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. Nyungwe Top Hill View Hotel.
Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking & Canopy walk in Nyungwe Forest National Park Have breakfast at the lodge and then drive to the park Park headquarters by 7:00 am for short briefing on conduct around the Chimpanzees then after you are allocated in groups of 8 lead by park ranger. The park ranger directs you to the Cyamudongo forest situated a few kilometers off the Nyungwe Forest National Park requiring travellers to transfer for an hour and a half. After a while you reach the forest and enter the green forest to track the Chimpanzees for a period of 2 to 4 hours and after a while you shall meet the Chimpanzees and stay in their presence taking many photos to keep. After tracking the chimpanzees, break off for lunch then proceed on a afternoon canopy walk that introduces you to views of canopies, primate species, birds, and the verdant gorges then later return to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight.
