Detailed Itinerary of the 4 Days Luxury Rwanda Chimpanzee Tracking Tour

Day 1: Arrival at the Airport of Kigali Rwanda

You arrive at the Kigali International Airport where you are welcomed and picked up by a driver guide to transfer you to check-in hotel for relaxation. While here, he briefs you shortly about the safari and how you going to go about it. They inform you about the attractions in Rwanda then after, he drives you to check-in hotel for Dinner and Overnight. Hotel Mille Collines.

Day 2: Kigali City Tour then to Nyungwe Forest National Park

You are picked up from your hotel by the driver who transfers you to enjoy a City Tour as you view the various attractions around the City. Visit the Genocide Memorials, National Museums and National Market. Later, break off for lunch en-route then continue to Nyungwe Forest National Park located in the Southern Province of Rwanda.

Transfer for some hours (5 to 6) enjoying the green vegetation terrain, rolling hills, bird species etc then after a while, you shall reach the park and check-in lodge for relaxation, Dinner and Overnight. One & Only Nyungwe House.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Tracking in Nyungwe Forest National Park

Tracking Day of the Chimpanzees is here, so wake up early have breakfast then embark on transfer to the Park headquarters. When you reach here, you are warmly welcomed by a park ranger guide who introduces you to the Chimpanzees in the Forest as well as provide information.

He shall then later brief you on the conduct around the Chimpanzees then later will allocate you in groups of 8 with a lead ranger guide. The lead ranger guide, transfers you to the starting point at Cyamudongo Forest which takes you a period of 1 and a half hours then later you shall enter the forest following the tracking guidelines to search for the rare species of Chimpanzees which share 98.5 % DNA with humans.

Trek these for 2 to 6 hours along the various trails navigating along bushy trails then after a while, you shall meet the chimpanzees and stay in their presence for an hour taking many photos to keep.

After Tracking the Chimpanzees, return to the park headquarters then to your lodge for Dinner and Overnight. One & Only Nyungwe House

Day 4: Depart to Kigali International Airport

Breakfast in the morning then embark on departure to the Kigali International Airport to book and catch your flight back home.
